Fringe Elements: Obama Birth Certificate Hypothesis →

Unfollowing as a result of this nonsense post.  HE DIDN’T HAVE THE DOCUMENT THAT WAS RELEASED YESTERDAY IN 2008!  He had to pay for his lawyers to make special requests to get that document because the Certificate of Live Birth Obama produced in 2008 is what the Hawaiian government gives people born in Hawaii upon request of proof of birth there.  It wasn’t like this document was sitting in a drawer in the Oval Office.  I think Obama reasonably thought that the whole birther thing would fade because it was SO RIDICULOUS and because he had absolutely, positively, unequivocally proven that he was born in Hawaii when he produced the Certificate of Live Birth in 2008.  He only bothered to have his lawyers go get the long form birth certificate (which, by the way, is a request that the Hawaiian government probably wouldn’t honor for anyone else) because the birther nonsense is still floating around, and he decided that he needed to squash it (in spite of the fact that it had ALREADY BEEN DISPROVEN) before the campaign for 2012 really gets going.  Do your f*cking homework. When Obama said all he had was the Certificate of Live Birth in 2008, he was NOT LYING.  Idiot.

Here is Obama talking about the fact that he had to have his lawyers go and get this doc by making a special request:

“I said to my team, look, even though this is not usually what the state of Hawaii does,” he explained, “even though the Republican governor of Hawaii, the Democratic governors of Hawaii, all the various officials had confirmed that I was born here, let’s ask them for a special dispensation where they will go ahead and provide us with the original to see if we can put this to rest.”
